Biography : Toby Joiner-Brown

Toby Joiner-Brown is the son of Paul Joiner and the very proud husband of Rebecca, and father to Georgina and Hannah. He has been a commercial pilot for the past decade or so which has allowed him the time to dabble as a web developer on various projects. In his spare time you might also find Toby playing squash for Aylesbury, trying to recapture his glory years as a lead guitarist, following his love of video games, or maybe even just reading. One thing is for certain, he rarely sits still for five minutes!!

The Joiner Marriage Index online service is his proudest achievement in terms of web-design in that the entire site has been built from scratch. The site is an ongoing work in progress both in terms of the site-design and the development of the database to improve functionality and the number of marriage records that are offered. In the four years that the site has been running there has been very little down time and the number of satisfied customers we have speaks for itself. The task for the immediate future is to spread the word about the site further as we strive to concrete its position as the source for marriage records in England before 1837.

The newest part of the site is the blog which will grow to offer all kinds of information regarding family history as well as being a place to inform our users of updates to the site.
