A further update has been made to Somerset with some added marriage records to the parishes already there and the addition of 16 more new parishes:

Combe S. Nicholas with 660 marriage records between 1678 and 1812
E Pennard with 627 marriage records between 1608 and 1812
Fairford with 1097 marriage records between 1619 and 1837
Henbury with 2051 marriage records between 1544 and 1812
Hinton S. George with 629 marriage records between 1632 and 1837
Huntley with 382 marriage records between 1538 and 1837
Ilminster with 1440 marriage records between 1662 and 1812
Kilmington with 541 marriage records between 1582 and 1837
Lopen with 164 marriage records between 1732 and 1812
Midsomer Norton with 1077 marriage records between 1701 and 1837
Runnington with 201 marriage records between 1586 and 1812
Sampford Arundel with 164 marriage records between 1698 and 1812
Thorne S. Margaret with marriage records between 1721 and 1812
White Lackington with 207 marriage records between 1695 and 1837
Winstone with 245 marriage records between 1540 and 1837

This takes the total number of marriage records for Somerset to 136,021 in 244 parishes and for the Joiner Marriage Index to 2,030,266 in 2,910 parishes.

As well as some additions to the parishes we already have in Somerset, we have added 5 new parishes with 4,344 marriage records:

Ashill - 425 marriage records between 1558 and 1815
Beer Crocombe – 191 marriage records between 1542 and 1812
Stocklinch Magdalen – 5 marriage records between 1712 and 1776
Stocklinch Ottersay – 189 marriage records between 1558 and 1812
Crewkerne – 3534 marriage records between 1559 and 1812

This brings the total marriage records for Somerset to 122,354 in 228 parishes and for the Joiner Marriage Index to 2,016,599 in 2,894 parishes in 25 counties. There will be further updates throughout the month as we make more of our offline data for Somerset available.

Podymore Milton – 56 marriage records between 1744 and 1812
Ruishton – 107 marriage records between 1679 and 1812
Somerton – 1041 marriage records between 1697 and 1812
Thorne Faulcon – 136 marriage records between 1726 and 1812
West Monkton – 501 marriage records between 1710 and 1812
Yeovilton – 135 marriage records between 1655 and 1802

This brings the total marriage records for Somerset to 114,931 in 223 parishes and for the Joiner Marriage Index to 2,009,176 in 2,889 parishes in 25 counties.

We currently have 106,252 marriage records in 214 parishes in Somerset.
